This month offers an abundance of enticing forms and finishes perfect for showcasing your chocolates, desserts, mementos or flowers for Valentine’s Day and every day!  Treat your loved ones, and yourself, to a wonderful assortment of functional and sculptural ceramics made by local artists. Get By With a Little Help From My Friends

March is a blustery month culminating with the Annual Kite Festival as part of the Cherry Blossom festivities. Breeze into the gallery to find work with cherry blossoms, kites, flowers, birds and other motifs that celebrate the start of spring! Here Comes the Sun

Ah, spring is finally here! Celebrate Earth Day (April 22) everyday with beautiful ceramic vessels made from elements of the earth.  Cobalt blues, copper greens and iron reds and browns abound as we embrace nature and revel in the longer days, frolicking animals and budding plant life. Strawberry Fields Forever

Spring flowers and fruits abound and what better way to celebrate Mother’s Day than to use handmade centerpieces, vases or berry bowls to show off nature’s bounty.  Berry loving birds, pollinating butterflies, and curious animals populate the gallery in sculptures and as decorative motifs using beautiful carvings and underglaze painting. I Want to Hold Your Hand

Celebrate love and connection in all its beautiful forms this month at Scope!  Bring together the people you love with handcrafted dinnerware, beverage sets and serving pieces.  Savor a diversity of forming methods, surface treatments, and firing techniques. From stains to embossing, wood firing to raku, and functional to sculptural these pieces are sure to please. With the Ceramic Guild

Octopus’s Garden

Cool off at Scope this summer and take a dive under the sea as we explore the Earth’s aquatic ecosystems.  Celebrate the underwater worlds of oceans, lakes, rivers, and little streams. You will find artfully depicted fish and octopus on vases, intense water influenced blue-green glazes on functional ware and marine themed sculptures! With the Kiln Club.

 

August 4 - 31

Ob-La-Di Ob-La-Da

Anything goes in this height of summer show! Embrace the laid back, late summer vibe with a handmade pitcher of your favorite cold beverage served in tumblers and cups crafted by local artists. From hand built to wheel thrown, from coil to slab, you will find it all at Scope this month. With the Ceramic Guild.

 

September 1 - October 5

The Long and Winding Road

Fall is a time of reflection and exploration. This month features pieces that tell the journey of clay being taken from the earth, formed by skilled hands, inured in the fires of the kiln and finished with surface design and glaze. Grace your table and decorate your home with some of these exquisite hand-made pieces. With the Ceramic Guild.

 

October 6 - November 2

Black Bird

Be ready for Halloween and beyond! Scope is celebrating all things that fly, crawl, and walk on all fours this October. Blackbirds, foxes, bats and other nocturnal creatures will inhabit the gallery as we move through this spooky season. Find ceramic creations - whimsical and realistic, functional and decorative and perhaps even a ceramic pumpkin or two for your October décor. With the Kiln Club.

Come Together

Enhance your fall gatherings with friends and family using locally crafted work for the table and kitchen.
